This is on request from the topic suggestion, and I feel that maim is definitely something that alot of feral’s aren’t using to it’s full extent.

“Offensive” use of maim
攻击性猫凿

Let’s say that you are trying to kill something that is slippery e.g. Druid or a Frost Mage. There is alot of situations where you have to use your maim in order to help your teammates to get of shatter combos or catching up with the target. You will most likely need the help from you teammates to down him and it’s of great importance that you help each-other to not let the target get away.

假如你在追杀一个“滑溜溜的”（速度原因难以保持近身的）家伙比如德鲁伊或者冰法，很多时候你必须用猫凿让你的队友（得到几个GCD）完成致命的连击或者追上目标。你很可能必须依靠你的队友才能解决掉你的目标，同时，记住队友间的互相支持使目标不能（轻易）逃脱是很重要的。

If you got DR on a healer and he is standing close to you, save your energy and rake + maim him. Doing this vs a class with HOT ability isn’t really a good choice though. It’s very situational aswell but it definitely worth doing when you have to lockdown something to get DR on cyclone off.

如果你对对方治疗的控制（一般是吹）递减同时他又很靠近你的时候，保存能量，扫击接凿。然而这在对付一个HOT职业的时候并不是一个好选择。不过当你必须Lockdown某些目标同时吹风又递减的时候是值得一试的。

1v1 against a mage. Abuse it! This is a big damage source on a frost mage that is kiting you around. You will less likely be able to do more then one or two attacks before he will outrun you. Mangle + Maim, wait up energy shred and mangle if possible before it’s time to shift out of the freeze =). Remember to be careful with maim usage when you are going low ^__^

在和法师1V1的时候，多用这招吧！法师风筝起你的时候的对你造成的伤害是巨大的。一般他在拉开距离之前你只有一两次攻击的机会，芒果+凿，等一下能量，在起身解冰冻之前接撕碎+芒果（如果可能）。记住在劣势的时候小心使用猫凿。


“Defensive” use of Maim
防御性猫凿

I find it very useful against more or less every opponent you come across. This is the scenario I’m thinking about: You have to pull of that guy from you teammate. Rogues can for example “parry” that straight up cyclone with cloak or vanish but they can’t do that if you would just rake and maim him. This does however require that you stand quite close to each-other to begin with. The same goes with warriors! you could pull a warrior of with a rake maim for some milli second which can give your healer the chance to slip behind the corner and there might be a chance of zerker rage beeing on cd aswell. Maim isn’t as useless as you may think.

这一招或多或少会在你面对各种对手的时候管用。我想着这样一个场景：你要帮你的队友脱身（把某些个无脑打某职业的家伙从你队友身边嘲讽走^_^）。[哗~]会使用斗篷或者消失躲避你的直接起身吹，但是如果你先扫击后凿然后再吹就不一样了。这要求你靠得比较近。对战士同理可得，你可以控制一个战士一点点时间让你的治疗者一个脱身的机会同时制造一个战士激怒CD的机会。猫凿也不像你想像中那么不堪嘛。

I know that this isn’t anything revolutionary around the maim usage. I bet many of you already know this, but as long as someone learned something from it then the post has fulfilled it’s duty :DD

当然我知道这并不是猫凿的革命性用法，我敢保证你们很多人也都知道，不过只要有人能从这贴中学到些东西，我的任务就完成啦^_^
