Canonically raids are being cleared by specific factions. Horde takes out Mag's lair and Bastion of Twilight (and presumably we'll learn they took out Tempest Keep). Alliance defeated Lady Vashj and freed Grim Batol.
They never really refer to the Lich King as Ner'zhul except after Arthas "kills him", which might give some weight to the idea the Lich King is more a separate entity at this point.
Arthas wanted to create a unified world under his control to defend against Legion and Old Gods
Start of Cataclysm and The Shattering novel retconned. Garrosh now purposefully assaulted Ashenvale rather than being framed, starting the war. Previously Cairne believed Garrosh did, but Garrosh denied it. Sylvanas also wanted to invade Gilneas, though her short story and Chris Metzen previously implied otherwise. (IMO kinda sucks they are making horde seem more like bad guys ALL the time, when previously there was more nuance to the characters)
Me'dan is listed in the index under page 404 (book only has 230 pages).
The plot of WC3 doesn't seem majorly changed, but adjusted slightly to be more cohesive as a single plan/story.
After Gul'dan brought them to the tomb, Twilight's Hammer fled to Kalimdor seeking C'thun and Garona followed them
Medivh seemingly was so powerful his death wasn't really a proper death. He spent some time in twisting nether and learned of the Lich King and their plans with the Scourge. His resurrection now referred to largely as a summoning.
